Dear Family and Friends:

We are currently living in Aiken, South Carolina working full time on raising our financial support. It was great for Campus Crusade to allow us to spend all of our energy and focus solely on raising our initial support.

Moving again was not our favorite thing, but we are thrilled to be settled for a couple of months and not living out of suitcases for weeks as we traveled. We are still traveling in North and South Carolina and have plans to go to Tennessee as well. God has blessed us with a great house to rent here complete with a big fenced yard and fun kids across the street; instant friends for Emily and Luke. The neighbor kids are mostly boys so Luke is loving being in a rescue hero -cops-pirates & swords kind of world. Emily is being a trooper with all the "boy stuff" and usually volunteers her dolls and stuffed animals to be rescued from sharks and bad guys and even put in jail. Luke's favorite thing.

Mike is totally focused and working hard on raising our support. We are making 120+ calls a week and presenting our ministry 9-12 times per week. We are more than ready to complete this phase of support raising and move onto our full time assignment at the world headquarters in Orlando . Much like witnessing to people, God is in control of this process and it takes His leading for others to join our support team. As you all know, God's timing is usually not the same as ours. Meanwhile God is molding us and refining us during this process. We are feeling the reshaping of our Potters hands for sure.

It has been a huge blessing to live in the same town as my Mom, Donna Eckburg and my brother John Eckburg and his wife April and their two kids, Tyler and Tessa. Grandma Donna is graciously babysitting Emily and Luke so I can go on as many presentation appointments as possible with Mike. John and April helped us unpack and move in and continue to help us any way they can. Emily and Luke have loved getting to know their cousins too. My Dad, Dick Eckburg and his wife, Judy live in North Carolina and they are also a great help to us when we meet with churches and individuals there.

We can not thank you enough for your financial support and your prayer support of us. The example in the Bible is to either go (Matt. 28:19) or send (Romans 10:15) or pray for (Luke 10:2) missionaries to reach the world for Christ. We can not go without our senders-you! We appreciate more than you know your encouraging emails, phone calls and letters & cards to us as well. We pray for you on a regular basis and ask God to meet your individual needs as we know them, and to protect you and bless you. We know that God knows you intimately and knows the desires and needs of your heart and we ask Him to answer your prayers and give you the peace and comfort that can only come from your Maker.

God Bless you all

Love,

Mike and Cindy
